Cuz you’re tired of seeing and hearing the same old crap in the same old way by the same old people.
I know what it’s like starting out, being overwhelmed and constantly lied to. I want to help
You want to know if real people actually make money online, or is it only for the super slick marketers with MBA’s and financial planners.
You want information from someone you can relate to, someone that’s real, no fakes, no fillers, no fronting, and no fluff.
Because you like sammiches….don’t lie, I know you do! You had one today didn’t you?
Look……I’ve been lured in by many “teachers” that claimed they wanted to help the “little guy” ….yeah, all they wanted to help me do was spend my money!
I also know that not everyone is starting fresh, but you just looking for new tips, tools, or maybe even
some comic relief!
Come on man…..you know you’re sick of all the boring, lame, cookie cutter marketers you see around.
Whatever the case may be, my goal is to help. I am not a pretender, what you see is what you get.
Watch my video blogging, and get to know me…yeah…that’s me, who would want to pretend to be like me anyway?
Well, I can think of one guy who wants to be like Normal Joe. But…that’s just weird lol.

I know there are things that work for the average person with no sales experience, the beginner.

I also know that there are the things that will take a little more knowledge and effort to implement.
For this reason, I always remain honest when I recommend methods, tools, or training, and will let you know up front who it will most benefit, and if you should get it.
I truly believe in helping others, and refuse to promote any and everything just to make a quick buck.
I don’t claim to know it all, this blog documents my journey, and I am more than happy to share what I know and what I learn.
Stick around a while…………

Thanks Holly, again, it means a lot coming from you because I know you wouldn’t just say it to be saying it, I know you mean it! I just want to help people!
I was talking to my wife about the whole thing ( she still things I’m a little crazy, but knows if I put my mind to something I’m going to do it) and talking about how my motivation for success isn’t just my immediate family.
Family is definitely a priority, but I don’t just want to store up a whole bunch of material things for ourselves, I also want to be in a position where I can really help people out and not worry about how much it will cost me.
Sometimes those looking to make it online prefer the hype at first, it sounds better than “if you want it you will have to work for it”. But eventually people come to see what’s real and that’s when people like you and Davinator come in. I just hope to one day have that same reputation, as I continue to build it. You guys will always have my support in all you do.
I will be emailing you about a few things (graphics and admin template) lol
see ya later Holly, keep it up.

That’s cool JK. I grew up in the heart of ACC country. I’m a Tar Heel fan. Not fanatical or anything but I keep up with it. There are a lot of fanatical fans around here though. I’ve seen people lose all kinds of bets on basketball games when I was growing up and have to do things like jog a mile nude, get their heads shaved,- just about anything you can imagine. Kansas kicked our butts last year in the final four but we still got Roy Williams from them, haha. Take Care.

Hi Joe. I love your site! You know, you’re kind of normal (except for the fact that you’re extraordinary)! I’m probably not making sense. Let me try again. You are special, but you are being normal in the fact that you are merely being yourself! The others are sometimes not normal b/c they are too stiff to be themselves. Does that sort of make sense? So you are both normal (being yourself) and extraordinary! anyway, I love your site. I looked over it some and you gave me some good ideas!
If you ever get on Twitter, follow me, and I’ll do the same back. My Twitter Username is below. How I found you? I was reading something about Garry Conn and your name came up. So I followed to your blog here. Garry’s someone I really respect and know a little bit. Any friend of his is a… well, you know. Okay, gotta run, but first, where is your RSS aggregator? I wanted to subscribe in my Google Reader! Can I do it that way somehow? What am I missing? Okay, I’ll go in search of it! Again, Joe, great blog!

Your blog gives off a comfortable vibe/feeling, unlike certain other sites, where it is easy for someone to feel that they are talking to a super high fly professional who’ll never respond to their emails or comments. Thanks for such an innovative, fun and informative blog.

Wow! That was real quick Joe. Very fast on the responses. I Like that. I’ve been trying to develop my own internet marketing blog lately. Its going alright. What i am learning from you is that it is okay and in fact good to be casual, relaxed and fun when writing posts rather than sounding too formal or “textbook” like. lol.
I guess my question for you is this, do you ever worry about criticism from the so-called gurus or internet experts. I tend to stress out about that when i teach something on my blog. I worry if they’ll be like “this isn’t exactly right” or something like that. I guess “reputation” is my biggest fear in blogging.

I hear ya bro, lemme try to answer lol.
NO
hahaha, just be you man. You can’t be expected to know everything, just share what you know and keep it real. People are sick of the “experts” because they can’t relate.
People relate much better to someone that “looks like them” and shows their flaws and all. Your reputation will be fine if you always share what you know truthfully, and people know you are real.
If they feel you are “putting on a show” then that’s when your rep gets messed up.
Most “experts” are too busy trying to take money out of new customers pockets to worry about what we do anyway. As long as they aren’t being trashed they are fine, that doesn’t mean I won’t call em out if I need to
Honestly man, I don’t really care lol, let me rephrase.
I don’t care what the so called experts think, I do things my way and if I make a mistake I’ll let it be known, so far, it seems to be working for me
keep pushin man, and keep getting out and networking with other marketers.
what type of stuff are you doing? ppc, affiliate, adsense, what you workin with?
Reply
May 5th, 2009 at 1:26 pm
Mostly Adsense. Hence, the “textbook” sounding blog. Haha.
I’ve done ppc in the past with good results. But, the truth is that it is getting more and more expensive. I am trying to lay low from ppc at the moment ( adwords in particular) and focus more on becoming a social blog rather than simply a blog made for the search engines. We’ll see how it goes.
Speaking of which, ever considered making a bid on personalitymarketing.com? It would be quite the domain for you. The website appears to be just domain parked. Its possible the website owner may give it up for a good price. Just a guess.
