if you remember a while back, I did a review on a speed reading software called The Readers Edge
I was supposed to update you with my progress, but things got hectic and as you know I was away from updating this blog for a little while.
good news is that I am back to regular updates and wanted to get back on the speed reading train.
I will give you weekly updates on how I am progressing, at least for a month, we’ll see.
reading faster, but better yet, comprehending more info faster definitely helps you in your marketing.
you spend less time consuming info, and more time implementing it.
what do you think about speed reading or trying to improve your information comprehension and speed?

Yeah Joe,
I like that speed reading demo in your Tools page. It is hot. I have been talking to the wife about getting a copy for me, her, and our children. I saw that it was for children and thought, wow, what if they knew how to speed read at a young age. They already comprehend information better than other children their age, this would be the nail to solidify their academic success….at least that is how I see it.
I am an intelligent guy. Well, at least that is what my Mother told me…AND I BELIEVE HER!! But a problem I have always had was my reading speed. It is slow and if I want to really comprehend, it is even slower. So I hope not to pass that on to them.
But I can see how reading faster would be key as my new profession of an internet marketer because I am reading so many blogs, ebooks, and studying that faster reading would cut down on my time spent, then leave me more time to implement the stuff I am reading.

Yeah man, it’s a pretty cool program, the president is hardcore into the industry man, pretty well-known and a cool cat. I definitely thought about it for my kids as well man, it’s dope.
Let me know if you end up getting it man and what you think about it. Being able to consume info faster and retain it is a definite power tool to have in your belt yo!

Good points Joe. If you can get up to that 370 words a minute mark you can read on average an article a minute. And I hear you on the comprehension point – with out that it doesn’t really matter how fast you read.
Sometimes I do my best thinking when I’m reading. I wonder why that is. I’ll read a few hundred words of something, comprehend absolutely nothing, but at the same time, come up with some good ideas.
I’ll check out the software. Keep on with the energy!

I hear ya man! It’s easy to let the mind wander while reading! I’m going to get to where I need to be man!

Good suggestion, Joe. That is what I am talking about, ideas that will make you more efficient and a better person. Thanks for the tip and I look forward to hearing about your results. Good choice on the every week report as opposed to the full 30 days. The week gives us a chance to get into your case study. 360+ words a minute would be awesome!!!

yeah man! it’s all about forward motion, weekly updates keep me accountable cuz I KNOW I got to do it every week so I better be practicing so i don’t make the company look bad lol.

I’m with you on this! I’ve been trying to speed read for FOREVER! I’ve got books but I really want this programme! After googling it.. you were the only person with a vid … SO THANKS SO MUCH!
You’re progress (and it better be good) and vids are the deciding factor for me!
