How to launch a new website
That’s right folks, you get to witness history in the making! Okay, maybe not that dramatic, but I’m going to take you along with me as I launch a new site. Piss Biscuit called me out and said I need to let you guys see some more of the business side of Normal Joe…so, I’m going to let you all roll with me as I launch a new 
site. You’ve seen bits, peices, and hints at it since the inception, but I’m gearing up for the launch and I want to share it with you.
What you can learn from the launch of a new website
Why would you want to see this? What can you learn? Well, everyone has their own systems in place, and I’ve come up with a pretty cool one for the launch of this particular site! I don’t know about every site launch, but I can’t say that I’ve seen it done before…even if it has been, I wasn’t aware of it. You get to watch me closely as I go through all the systems and details of launching this site, from the marketing to the official launch. You can then take what you learn and apply it, tweak it, and come up with your own system. Now, what works for one site may not work for every other site, so the thing to remember is be flexible and be creative!
Get exclusive content during the site launch
I will be giving out exclusive content as it relates to the launch. You will get some snippets of the new sites
contents and the details on the progress of the site launch. The key to this is, it will only be available by RSS subscription. I’m not sure if I will password protect the post and send the password out in the feed or if I will make it an RSS exclusive category, either way you’ll need to be an RSS subscriber to get it.

Alright Joe, I like this idea. Plus, I am certain I am going to get some great ideas for launching another site that my partner and I are working on. This is going to be like an active Case Study. Maybe after you have launched, you can take your notes and make a Case Study on site launch for your Im with Joe site. Just thinking out loud, but that would be cool.
Yeah, I was hangin on Piss Biscuit site and he was calling you out. I made mention in the comments because we are excited about the site, so bring it on. Piss has a good site, I subscribed there as well.
The RSS feed isn’t working on the “if this blog could talk” site. I click the rss and it takes to a maintenance mode. I signed up via email, but don’t want to be left out.

Congrats on the launch Joe. Nicely done. I have some sponsor ideas for you on the videos:
1.) Ex-lax… I think it would be great to talk bout the importance of Ex-lax.
2.) 10w30 Motor Quaker State Motor Oil. Every car engine needs oil.
3.) Trojan Condoms… I have four kids now, so if you had a sponsor like this, it could help prevent over-population of the world.

Yeah man, should be fun, you guys are actually in the launch now! But, I’ll explain my methods in a little more detail and give you all some snippets of the interviews to get you ready.
Piss Biscuit is a bum! Nah, he’s a good guy and helps keep me motivated, he was actually the first to know about my plan for the site launch. I hope you guys can learn something, all I can say is pay attention to all the little things going on with this, I am revealing pretty much everything I’m doing with the launch if you can tell. As you go through it, try to learn what I’m doing and evaluate why.
Oh yeah, I fixed the feed so you should be able to subscribe to it now, I took it out of maintenance mode.

Even if you stopped the video after the sponsors, it’d still be better than 90% of the video that is circulating online. Great stuff. Can’t wait to see the new site. Good luck with the launch.

Seriously, I think this site is going to be great- I love getting to know bloggers and recorded interviews seem more personal than when typed. Plus, I know coming from you, they’re going to be entertaining! Keep up all the great work!

Hahaha, thanks Jeni…I’m excited about it. I also have a feeling a lot of people will “catch the vapors” so to speak. Meaning those who weren’t as eager to help me out in the beginning will want to get in once it’s going..that’s the nature of the beast. HOWEVER…that doesn’t mean I have to play nice with the beast
Nah…but really, I’m excited and I’ve had great support since I started contacting bloggers, even before I had the site.

I’m down – and will definitely be “launching” my own very very soon. It’s true though, you can learn an unbelievable amount of info catching a launch in it’s early stages… and then like you said, tweaking it and making it your own.
