I lied. Feedburner doesn’t suck…completely.

So yeah, I said feedburner sucks for integrating with email and their own email options were pretty horrid.
It just delevered with a subject line of whatever your blog TITLE was, not the blog post title.
Well, thanks to my friend Anna, I now know that you can customize your feedburner email
subject line.
I was catching up on my blog reading and found here post

thanks Anna, I changed mines this morning.
I still won’t integrate feedburner with aweber anymore…
but at least feedburner subscribers via email will know what the heck I’m talking about

It’s cool to lie to me as long as you clean it up…and you did. Good stuff, Sammich Man! I got to check that one out, then again, I got to start back blogging. It’s coming.

I’m feelin’ these quickie cuppa joe videos in the morning too, man. They’re like mini-espressos with nuttin’ but straight Columbian bean all up in ya blood stream! Great way to start the day!

… glad my little post was helpful! You had me laughing as usual … “all that interlinking,” lol …
I know what you mean about doing things manually and using aweber to add a personal touch. It’s true. I don’t even have an aweber list for my blog yet … I know it’s bad, but I just keep putting it off … and some people also want to start with Feedburner because it is free and all that. Plus, I’m happy to even have time to start posting on that little blog again. Now I have to build a list? Overwhelming! (ie. I have too many websites to work on).
At least the Feedburner customization is a bit more personal than “From: Building from Nothing, Subject: Building from Nothing” in the emails.
I always thought it was a bit redundant! Like, do you get the hint about who is sending this email? Ha.

No problem! yeah, I feel that, it’s definitely an easy way to get started…but once a person gets going, it’s nice to start building a list, takes your communication to the next level.
But, I know you got tons of sites making money so it doesn’t really matter!

I get your posts via feedburner and I always grin an an eager to click, It sure is a cool tool … Just wish I could actually drop a video like that every now and again. but I ain’t shown my ugly mut on line yet .. I’m all undercover like Columbo or somebody!
