Another week has passed, and we continue to grow. Thanks to all you wonderful folks that choose to read this blog.  I’m still plugging along, getting a lot more focused on a few of my income streams, and still trying to keep you laced with the good content! I’m investing a lot more time into solid education to improve my online career and will be sharing much more with you all. One area I am getting into more is physical books. I’ve never been much of a book reader…as in, I didn’t just buy books and read them. However, there are some wonderful resources to be had and I think I am becoming hooked on Amazon lol. Anyway, as usual, here’s the update for the week, see yall later.

    First again! Come on slackers!!!

Anyways, still growing them stats huh? Nice man, you’ve been having some great growth lately and it doesn’t sound like it is going to slow down anytime soon.

I like the posts that you made last week so I am glad to hear that you are going to continue with the same type of posts this week. Looking forward to your future posts.

hahaha, you be on it dude! You quicker than me! I promise I saw your reply before I finished the post!

Yeah man, those types of things are very easy to me, I have so much to speak on it, and how it relates to what we do. I will be trying to integrate that type of advice into more of my posts and outlook on the industry.

    Keep it moving, Joe!

It is happening for you. Hey, don’t hate on your Alexa ranking….it could be worst.

My Alexa rank last week was 22+million, not it is 5+million, so believe me you are in the game. Plus, every week you are growing.

I believe the closer you get to the top, the harder it is to continue to keep that rank growing. For me, being in the 22million area was easy to move up because most sites on the web don’t get any traffic.

    Reading
Joe, you better get with the reading. It is critical to your grow. I am big on reading and for some years was on a great pace of reading 1 book a month minimum. Now I am more like 1 book every two months, but need to pick it back up.

    Schedules
I like schedules because give the readers ship something to look forward to. Plus, they know what to expect from you. I think it builds the brand and creates a bond between you and community. This is the direction that I am moving with my personal blog that cracked the 5million mark, LOL! Just having fun with it!

    Stay at it!

    Anyway, I’m with Joe!

Lol….you growin son! Yeah man, it’s just weird…I dunno yo. As far as reading, I’m getting in it man. The more people I study the more I find out how much successful people read! So, I’m building an amazon wishlist, that I’ll be happy to share with my readers :)

The schedules have plus and minus, I like to do whatever I want, but also want to give yall good content. I may have some silent schedules, and keep them to myself ;)

To be honest – I don’t give a crap about Alexa. I care about my visitors.

I like taking the weekend off! I’ve been following you on that!

Bruh! Those numbers are looking nice like fried rice and I love seeing people bounce between our sites showing love.. it’s good to hear Ashley from Upstartblogger stopped by.

@The Themes Idea – I’m kind of in between with having regular themes for the entire week. If there’s maybe one day with a theme I think that’s cool – but a theme everyday I think makes things predictable, and you know who I feel about that!

I think you should keep doing what you’ve been doing.

If it aint broke, don’t fix it.

I hear you man…but some people do, so I’ll keep reporting it, but you know it’s all about the community for me dude! Lol @ fried rice…lol, I love sharing readers dude!

I hear you on the themes, and that’s one reason I haven’t done it, because I like to be unpredictable! I may have a “silent” theme, on certain days….or somehow incorporate themed days but not every day.

I hear you man, I just like to get input… :) You know what I’m gonna do in the end…keep given yall Joe!

What’s up man? You have porkchops with hot sauce for breakfast??? Dayum!

I’ve recently had a “discussion” with the wife to tone it down and chill out on the weekends as well, so I think it’s not only cool that you do that, but necessary. You can burn out without knowing it man….which I’m feeling like lately. lol. You need rest to be extra fresh and productive for the other days.

As you know, I almost went buckwild with the themed days, but I slowed it down after I put two or three. I need a few days where I can do whatever. I’m with Elijah, one or two days is cool. For me, website flipping is a big part of what I’m doing right now, so it makes sense to have flippin’ fridays….so maybe you could incorporate one day of something that the Joe focuses on regularly. Maybe Sunday Sammiches?

    Cheers!
    Jay

Yeah man…it’s good stuff! But, taking a break is cool…not saying that I’m not online on the weekends, because I am. But it’s mostly reading and stuff, not so much posting…unless I have something to say that can’t wait!

Yeah, I know you got the themes on lock! As long as you leave room for yourself I guess it’s okay, that’s how I feel anyway.

@Ryan McLean – Now now, I can’t be telling all my secrets now can I? haha

I spend quite a bit of time online and I will admit that I am somewhat obsessive when it comes to checking stats and keeping up to date on feeds and new blog posts. I usually keep a sharp eye on MyBlogLog as it seems to update the quickest out of any other service that I use. I can publish a post on my blog, head on over to MyBlogLog and it is usually already up there.

I didn’t used to be like this but in late March I came in contact with the most amazing individual that I have ever met. This person really opened up my eyes to the world and broke me out of my shell. I was extremely quiet and reserved before I met her but after meeting her and becoming best friends I am now slowly but surely becoming more sociable both online and offline.

Ok, so that last paragraph doesn’t relate to how I am so quick to respond, but now you all know a little bit more about me :)

Hey man, its good to see the numbers going up for you. The hat and the tie are a riot but I definitely know what to see when I see them.

You love the hot sauce man and I support that idea. I saw your spaghetti video before this one since I’m trying to catch up and I saw you throwing the hot sauce on that and I was like man, thats exactly how its supposed to be done.

I gotta say, Ive seen you use Viddler for a while now but it looks great. The videos look better and the logo in the corner looks great too. Keep up the great work man. Its good to see you rise up to the top.

Thanks Enkay, just trying to give you guys something to look forward to, while at the same time providing entertainment on a level all us marketing geeks understand lol. Hot sauce is the joint man! You need some in your life dude…has to be Louisiana though! I like Viddler a lot man, they allow much larger video sizes, and don’t care about the length. The larger size allows me to upload a better quality video.
