I setup multiple google accounts depending on what the purpose is.

I have a marketing account.

Personal account

And an account just for my music stuff.

Thing is, I started a music blog under my marketing account.

I wanted to move it over to my music account.

So checkout the video and see how it’s done.

Here’s the basics of it

1. add new author to blogger blog

2. make new author an admin

3. delete old author

yeah boyeeeeeeeeeeeeee

let me know what you think.  Is it more trouble to have multiple google accounts? I like to keep it clean, what about you?

I keep separate Google accounts too. I have one for things that I think *might* get me banned by G, thought I’m not black hat, or if I want to remain totally anonymous for one reason or another. And then I have a few more accounts. One is more personal, and the other two are there because I’m setting up nearly identical blogs, with each focusing on one VERSION of a keyword, so that I can take advantage of both. It would look weird having, say, a hotels and a resorts blog on the same account. :-)

I figured out how to transfer a blog the way you said about two weeks ago, but I can’t figure out how to change my display name on only one blog and not another. Posts that have already been posted have a one display name, but I want another to show instead. Short of deleting and reposting, I can’t figure out how to do that.

I haven’t figured out how to change post authors either, I’ll have to check it out. For me it’s not that bad, because I’m still using the same name pretty much.

Everybody should have more than one google account, especially if you make your living online.

At the very least, one for personal use, and one for business.

I use lastpass.com, it manages all my passwords and such from a secure online account.

I add the button to my toolbar so I can login where I need to…it’s a lifesaver.

Yeah man, I tried roboform, used it forever, lastpass is much better. It’s online so it follows me wherever I go. I love it, less intrusive, sleeker, all around better application.

It imports roboform data as well.

In the past I did tried to keep separate Google accounts but then later gave the concept thinking possible ban by Google. But right now after watching this video, I have created multiple google accounts, for my personal and business use.

Thanks for this short and sweet video. Take care man.
