You didn’t think I forgot about you today did you?  Of course you didn’t! I’ve got something that you can put into use today, that will definitely make a difference in your marketing, blogging, and life in general. :)   Okay, now that my dramatic cinematic intro is complete……let’ s get into it.

Joel Comm’s Secret Classroom

If you have been reading my blog for any lenght of time, then you’re probably away that about a month or so ago I won Joel Comm’s Secret Classroom through a contest on Gary Conn’s blog.  This is a home study course that includes the entire first season of The Next Internet Millionaire, as well as a 12 disc dvd training course.

When I recieved the secret classroom the first thing I watched was the actual reality show.  Simply from watching this, I knew I was in for a treat with the training.

The training is comprised of 2 hour sessions that the contestents got to attend, with some of the top internet marketers around!

So what do straight lines have to do with marketing?

Many of you know that I’ve been on this whole scheduling, effeciency, productivity thing for a while, and it’s really been helping out.  Thing is, I knew I needed to devote time to watch these discs, and not just pop them in on a whim.

Well, this week, I started watching them, I’ve only watched to in full so far, but let me tell you I’ve learned quite a bit from each.  What I aim to do is give you an overview of each disc.

The very first disc was by Mark Joyner, a successful internet marketer, business man, ex military personnel, and all around he seems like a pretty good guy.  When he got started, I was very, VERY interested in his topic.  He was talking all about straight lines, and how to reach your goals in the quickest most direct route.

It was very smart of Joel and the producers of the show to put Mark first, because what he taught could be immediately put to use by everyone there.  Why does this matter? Well, all the contestents didn’t get to see every presentation, if they got sent home they didn’t get to learn that topic.

Allowing Mark to go first, proved that the show really cared about the contestents and wanted them to learn as much as possible.

What is Simple.ology?

Simpleology, is refered to as “the simple science of getting what you want”.  I know it sounds self helpish, but that’s okay.  See, the whole concpet behind this is not focused on marketing at all, but principles that you can put to use in every area of your life.

What Mark taught in two minutes, they usually break down over 20 days on the Simpleology website.  So, I got interactive and when through the exercises with them, and even joined the website.  Did I mention Simpleology 101 is free?  This is what they went through and I can gaurantee if you join and use it, you will see immediate improvments in your efficiency and ability to get tasks done.

Mark took them through various exercises to show them how we lose focus on our goals, and do not always take the most direct route.  If you are wiling to be totally honest with yourself about your habbits, you will definitely benefit from this.

The actual website is an whole web 2.0 style experience, with an interface to keep track of your goals, daily tasks, projects, life focus, and many other things.  There are things  you must complete daily, and they take all of about 15 minutes, but if you do these things early, before you start your work day….you’ll see your focus increase and your productive  output will multiply.

Here’s a link to the site….no affiliate links in this one, www.simpleology.com just straight to the site.  Sign up, get started, and let me know what you think.  They have a forum, but I haven’t even started using that yet.
