You probably thought you’d get away from me today huh? Nope! I was busy but I still managed to put together a little video for you talking about some of the surefire ways you can succeed, or…if you fail to do this, how you will fail online or off. So sit back and enjoy this before you head to bed, relax your mind, wind down and let’s get into it

Yo, your vids are looking nicer! Got some natural light in there now and better quality over at Viddler!
Yes, you CAN deduct all that stuff, and keep receipts for EVERYTHING. A good accountant will find a way to write off some gas for you even though you sat on your butt behind the computer all day (you had to drive to pick up printer ink, right? lol)
That site looks cool man. I’ll check it out.
Cheers!
Jay

Thanks for the video joe,
Helps with my site a lot. I need to have a plan of attack when I get online. I spend loads of time doing other stuff I don’t need to be doing.
Thanks for the tips

@SuiteJ –
Cool, thanks dude! I’m diggin Viddler myself…as for receipts, most are online transactions through paypal, I can print them off at tax time. I do make pdf receipts of purchases when I can. We’ll see man, I’m just trying to do things properly and in order.
@Ryan McLean – Yeah man, it’s so easy, especially when you are trying to network, to get caught up in so much stuff. Just set apart time slots man, it will help you out. Or reward yourself for completing a task by allowing yourself to read/network for a bit. Keep at it dude, you’re doing fine.

Joe,
Great tips man! I have that problem; I start working and then end up messing around not getting much done. To be honest, it’s been going on more than usual lately for me — don’t know why,
Anyway, it needs to stop. And I need to implement that 60,60,30 strategy you pointed out and see how it works for me.
Same with the tax thing, I’m not sure exactly how that stuff works, but it’s definitely must-know information.
Thanks for sharing! And, those videos keep getting better and better Joe!

Hey Luis, it happens man. It’s VERY easy if we don’t attack it with the proper mindset, that’s why having a plan before you log on or open that browser will work wonders for your life.
That 60-60-30 is a monster man! It works wonders. Work for 50 minutes, take a 10 min break, work another 50, take another 10 then take a 30 min break and have a small meal. Rinse..repeat. Eben Pagan is the man! lol The key is, you have to have a plan for those times of work, shut down the email/chat and focus on the task. You’ll be surprised how much you get done.

Joe,
What’s crackin? Solid video, solid video. Sorry, I have been MIA, but I have been busy focusing on my craft as you have been instructing. Finished up Holly’s ebook today and I got a lot to do.
Like you, I am cutting down on what I am reading and keeping myself busy by implementing the things that I am learning.
Your video is timely as usual because I have found myself at the computer like, “Ok, that is 12th time I have checked my email this hour…maybe I could be doing something more useful.”
A few days ago, I started using a plan before getting started. This is something I do in my appraisal business, but am just know realizing that Internet marketing is a real business and needs to be treated that way.
Reading Holly’s book is really opening my eyes to this fact. Actually, between filipping my first site, working on doing more, and reading Holly’s book I have been awaken to the realization that this is a business. And those that take it seriously, focused, and working on results are going to be successful.
Providing the real world tax advice or reference for personal bookkeeping is big. That shows me your real growth and where you are headed with this business. If you were not taking your business seriously, you would not be bring this type of information to the people. Your mind would be on a smaller scale, but instead you are waking us up to the size and seriousness of this opportunity to position our Internet marketing business.
Well Normal Joe, you are not so normal. But I am glad to know of your site and will continue to grow from your direction. Keep it coming!
I’m with Joe!
(Sorry about the length, it has been a while since I have been commenting and had a lot on the brain, feel me?)

Hahaha, I hear ya man, no problem I told you, if you have to stop reading my site to focus then do it! That’s what I want, I want to help folks succeed no matter what.
Checking email is addicting, but I was learning from Eban man, and he was talking about the studies done with business folks, and those who check their emails less are on a average more successful and get more done! Imagine that lol.
Yeah man, glad you finished the book, it’s great stuff, just put it to work. It’s true man, many don’t approach this as a business, especially if they are online all the time anyway, it’s more like an extension of what we do online, which isn’t good. As you know, a few months back I had to change that outlook and it’s working out great.
Freddie, you have a tremendous amount of information that can help a lot of people, you have business sense that can be shared or…even sold! Tap that wealth you got in that knogin of yours man and keep moving forward.
Don’t worry about being MIA, I know what you are doing. Get it done.

Great video and great tips.
You presented an accounting application, but not one for productivity.
If you’d like to manage your time and activities you can use this application:
http://www.gtdagenda.com
You can set your Goals, manage tasks and projects, set schedules, use checklists, and also has features from GTD like contexts and next actions.

Glad you liked the video
As for the sound there has to be something going on with your machine lol…I even switched video hosts. I make sure it’s turned up ALL the way…it is LOUD on my machine. I asked a few others and they said it is louder as well…I am however, concerned lol…did you make sure to turn up the volume on the player?

Oops, I hit send to fast. As far as receipts go, print off paypal payments, as they can be used. AND save recipes for your internet, printer paper, all that bullshit. I know it may seem petty, but it all ad’s up!
