You know, so many times I see products talking about how much they can help the beginner. You know, those just starting out with this marketing things. They get you all hyped up, they go through the whole product launch thing, then BAM!!!!!!!
I don’t know how many times, I’ve read through a sales page, followed a week long product launch filled with teaser videos on “secret” pdf books, only to leave disappointed when I find out the price. Now, I don’t have anything against people charging large sums of money for quality info, just don’t market it or say it’s for the beginners.
Most of us got started with Internet marketing because of LACK OF FUNDS, not an abundance. We came into this looking for a way to improve our financial situation. Yes, some stuff should cost money, and some stuff should cost a lot of money, but, I think a disclaimer is in order.
Something to the tune of ” If you are just starting out, and don’t have a constant flow of cash coming in, you may want to wait for this product, as, it’s a little on the expensive side.” But, I guess that would be too honest right?
No, I see time and time again, where these marketers will hook and bait you into their fantasy product, only to bring you to the sales price and leave you either desperately figuring out which bills you can “move around” in order to afford their product, or, you leave with your hopes crushed!
Ha, how many beginners can afford a $60 – $200 or more monthly membership? They always break it down for you too…..”oh, you can go without that large pizza, movie, and ice cream if it means securing your financial future!”.
Well, it should actually read like this for the average person……”in order to afford this product, you need to figure out how to go without gas in the car, food in the fridge…oh yeah, don’t worry about that light bill this month, you’ll pay it with the gigantonormous amounts of cash you’ll make from following my product”
Man…please!!! Stop teasing me…I can’t afford your $2000 product even though I Know it has some great info, and $80/month is just a little on the steep side for your membership, even though I know the resources in it will take me to the next level……
Sometimes they’ll play the ” if you are serious about your career, this is a drop in the bucket” nah, if you’re serious about your life and want a place to lay down and food to eat then you better be smart about it!
It’s very easy to get caught up in a buying cycle….it’s like a drug….you keep looking for that next fix. My advice…find a few good programs, and stick to them. Don’t allow yourself to keep buying and searching for the next thing.
Yeah, we can keep up with what is going on, but don’t get caught on buying everything you see. The only way you will make any progress is to take action. Research and education is good, but it’s only practical if you use it!
