Tired of this crap man Feedburner stats are wack

Look yo, I’m tired of this crap man.  Yall know I try to keep it civilized and find the good in every situation, but this one is getting on my nerves man. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check the viddy man, I lay it all out there for yall.

Feedburner showing zero stats

I don’t know what they are doing, or why it happens, but many bloggers complain about it and it should be something that is getting fixed.  I’m tired of logging in to see zero in feedburner…at least the chicklet stays with a number, albeit one day behind! Come on Feedburner…get your crap together and we’ll really “luv you long time” :)

Anybody else having issues with them? What do you think we should do? I propose a riot, let’s find feedburner headquarters and bomb it with dandelions.

    I’m with Joe!

    Hi Joe,

    Feedburner is owned by Google… and as you already know, Google is out to get you anyway, so all this really shouldn’t come to be a surprise. ;)

    They seem to be in the process of transfering feeds from original feedburner servers to google servers. My guess is that’s not going very smooth.

    By the way it seems there are problems with google reader reporting stats to feedburner. I had seen few people today complain about how all google reader chunk had vanished from their feedburner count. Happened to me as well – I went and checked stats and good chunk is gone.

    @Big Ben Patton
    Yeah, I remember your post, I wasn’t having as much of an issue at the time but now…OH MY! Yeah, it sucks, but, I assume they will get it handled

    @Rarst@www.Rarst.net
    Hey Rarst! That’s actually some good info, I didn’t know they were switching. See, if they just made announcements about stuff like this, we’d all be a little less crazy….NOT….grab the flowers boys it’s time to ride!!!!!!

    Mine dropped too I went from 1,500 to 1,100… the problem is that Google Feedfetcher didn’t report last night that’s all. I am looking at my pie graph and I can see that everything polled minus Google Reader. Sometimes it happens. No biggie… You’ll be back right in no time.

    A few hours ago your chicklet was I think 84 and now it is 71. Things should bounce back for you tomorrow. For some reason when this happens, usually the next day the stats are surreal.

    @Jay
    Nope, not cuz you neglected your sites, it’s the ol Google spilling our Kool Aid again. I’m calming down though, thanks to you guys

    @Garry Conn
    Yeah man, people say that a lot, it’s funny they Google reader is the main culprit! Being that they own it! Ahh well, you have a larger dip than me so I can complain, but…you also still have a nice thou thou so….ahh, we’ll just see

    @Hugo Santos
    Yeah man, it’s really a bad deal when you see this type of stuff man. It hurt a lil bit when you wake up and see it, only thing keeping me a little sane is the chicklet still shows my old stats

    @David
    Welcome David! I love to see new faces…though I can’t actually see yours! Setup sezwho when you get a chance so we can see ya! But yeah man, this stuff is really wack, however, knowing others are going through it makes it a little better. Maybe we can start a support group

    “my name is Joe…..and Feedburner jacked my stats” :)

    Feedburner is being a bit weird lately. One day it says that I have nearly 50 readers and the next it dropped down to just over 30. I don’t know what to make of it or if it is telling the truth or not. I don’t really know if I care either. Google Analytics is probably the best free tracker that is on the internet but like Garry Conn said, Google is out to get you and pretty much any way that they can. Oh, and thanks for visiting my blog for the contest. I wrote a reply to your comment to let you know how to get in on the Lifefoc.us membership. Hope to see you around.

    Hey Joe,

    It’s pretty obvious that you’ve got a lot of subscribers, including me. I may not have ever commented before, but you totally crack me up.

    Oh, and Ramen noodles are a mom’s best friend. Trust me. Here’s a quickie recipe for you.

    Cut up a steak into cube sized pieces, through into a skillet with a little oil and 2 flavor packets out of ramen noodles and brown. Then, dump in a couple bags of frozen veggies, whatever floats your boat (I use the oriental mix). Crush up the ramen noodles, but don’t cook them. Leave them in their crunchy form. When your veggies are finished cooking and the meat is cooked through, put some on a plate, and top with the crunchy noodles. It’s good, easy, and a cheap meal.

    Have a great weekend.

    Yea @Garry It seems the day after more times than not it counts the missing rss subs that were lost the night b4 double. Although lately now that this is more common and more widespread throughout the blogosphere it seems to be much more of a quirky thing. It usually takes 2 days or so for this to correct back.

    We shall see. I am waiting for google or feedburner to step forward with a statement since this is starting to become more common.

    @Big Ben Patton
    Yeah…I’ve never had my reader read zero, it’s just the fact that it happens more often than not. When a service is down more than it’s up, or not working properly more than when it is working properly, something should be addressed. Especially with a company like feedburner.

    @Ben@SEO Horror
    That sucks man, hey, at least you get to see your stuff! No matter when I log into feedburner, all I see is zeros. It shall pass I’m sure.
