I’ve also been greatly considering making that move into the music niche myself! Have a few killer domains that I’ve been sitting on.. planning on taking some time in June to really set the foundation and get them moving!

Yeah man, for me, this is so much fun and makes sense. It’s not even really so much about niche content, than it is building an authority blog. Though, I am doing some niche stuff as well.
HUGE man, I don’t ever see the need to leave this niche unless I just want to lol.
Whatup wit you E! Haven’t heard from ya in a while!

I love your website. Very creative. The “personality marketing” part is an awesome concept.
Music is equally interesting to me. Just like Forest above, however, i can’t seem to figure out how to profit from it. Perhaps creating a nice ring tone, beat, or theme song is a step in the right direction. What are you strategies for making money via a music blog? I am very curious to learn. Thanks.

Thanks for the love Ryan, I appreciate it!
There are many ways to profit in the music niche. It just depends on what you want to do and your background.
I come from an urban/producer background, so that’s where my strengths are. Any thing that has to do with gear, producing, sound libraries, learning how to play instruments, used equipment, equipment customizations, it’s really endless, I could go on forever…and that’s exactly what I’m doing man.
You could just promote hip hop ringtones to the urban market, there are really no limits. You can just write about music and profit from adsense. It’s up to you and how much you know.
I really think man, you just gotta find what works for you and do it, no rules, have fun and take what you know about marketing into your other areas of interest. You’ll be surprised what you come up with.
